“ Their California roll is arguably the best I’ve had in Metro Vancouver—seriously yummy and well-made. The sashimi is thick-cut and incredibly fresh, too. I do find their sushi rice a bit too tangy for my taste. The aburi sushi is decent—I like that it’s not overloaded with mayo or too fatty—but it could use a bit more flavor. ”
“ Kosho Sushi is a pretty good Japanese restaurant. I went there for dinner and ordered the Ika Sugata Yaki with the Unagi Kyuri Sushi roll. The Ika Sugata had a unique texture and taste to it while also being awfully chewing to consume. The sushi was pretty great and saw no problems from eating it. The restaurant had a modern touch to its countenance while having some oriental décor inside. The service was very nice. When they first serviced me they offered me tea, but I declined. This is a great Japanese restaurant that I would not mind going back to if I am in Coquitlam again. ”
“ This restaurant was busy on Saturday when we went and we had to wait around 20 minutes to be seated for four. I’m so glad that they still had bento boxes evening during the weekend lunch hour and the bento boxes came with not only the main, but also two pieces of tempura, 4 pieces of sushi, salad, miso soup, sunomono salad with a piece of shrink, and one slice of orange. It was a great deal and lots of food for under $20. They also had small portion options for less than $10 and it was nice just to try out the different foods on offer at the restaurant. There is plenty of parking as it’s located in a plaza. Presentation of the dishes was beautiful and service was courteous and prompt. Be sure to go before the staff starts taking their lunches around 2:30 pm. ”

“ Always love this place. Service is professional and friendly. Do yourself a favour and order dessert! Either the Macha Tiramisu or the Yuzu Cheesecake. We got a little sample of Matcha Ice cream and Black sesame Ice Cream too. So yum. ”
